{"id":2381,"date":"2025-04-27T03:54:25","date_gmt":"2025-04-27T03:54:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/h2obfs.com\/?page_id=2381"},"modified":"2025-05-22T06:11:04","modified_gmt":"2025-05-22T06:11:04","slug":"kwinana-power-plant","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.h2obfs.com\/es\/case-studies\/kwinana-power-plant\/","title":{"rendered":"Central El\u00e9ctrica de Kwinana"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Central El\u00e9ctrica de Kwinana<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2006, Verve Energy, a trav\u00e9s del departamento de gesti\u00f3n de activos de la <strong>Central El\u00e9ctrica de Kwinana,<\/strong>contrat\u00f3 a una empresa consultora para evaluar y optimizar la estrategia de control de incrustaciones biol\u00f3gicas en su sistema de agua de refrigeraci\u00f3n.\nEl proyecto se centr\u00f3 en mejorar el proceso de cloraci\u00f3n mediante la implementaci\u00f3n del principio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2obfs.com\/es\/biofouling-solutions\/ecodosing\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"407\">Pulse-Chlorination.<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;El inicio del proyecto coincidi\u00f3 con la puesta en marcha de la planta Cockburn Fase 1 (CKB Fase 1). Para aplicar eficazmente el m\u00e9todo Pulse-Chlorination\u00ae, se llevaron a cabo ensayos en campo con el objetivo de determinar los intervalos de dosificaci\u00f3n y las concentraciones \u00f3ptimas de cloro que permitieran minimizar la formaci\u00f3n de bioincrustaciones, especialmente por la presencia de mejillones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:17px\">Datos clave del proyecto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El r\u00e9gimen de cloraci\u00f3n por pulsos recomendado fue implementado por Verve Energy durante la primavera de 2006. Durante el primer a\u00f1o de aplicaci\u00f3n, se realizaron varias inspecciones del sistema de agua de refrigeraci\u00f3n mediante buzos. A partir de las observaciones realizadas por los buzos y los resultados de la inspecci\u00f3n de los condensadores en agosto de 2007, se concluy\u00f3 que el r\u00e9gimen de cloraci\u00f3n por pulsos fue eficaz contra la macroincrustaci\u00f3n en Kwinana Stage C y CKB Stage 1. Estos resultados fueron confirmados por los datos obtenidos a trav\u00e9s de los Monitores de Bioincrustaci\u00f3n, que supervisaron la eficacia de la cloraci\u00f3n durante todo el periodo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante las inspecciones de los canales de captaci\u00f3n de agua de refrigeraci\u00f3n, se detect\u00f3 cierto crecimiento de mejillones en la primera secci\u00f3n de los canales, mientras que el resto del sistema permanec\u00eda limpio. Se concluy\u00f3 que esto se deb\u00eda a una mezcla inadecuada del hipoclorito con el agua de mar en el punto de entrada. Para mejorar la eficacia de la dosificaci\u00f3n, se est\u00e1 redise\u00f1ando y optimizando una nueva estructura de inyecci\u00f3n de cloro mediante modelizaci\u00f3n CFD (Din\u00e1mica de Fluidos Computacional), con el fin de garantizar una mezcla \u00f3ptima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:17px\">Objetivo del proyecto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo de este proyecto fue establecer un r\u00e9gimen de dosificaci\u00f3n eficaz para las centrales el\u00e9ctricas CKB-1 y KPS Stage C, como alternativa al tratamiento t\u00e9rmico. Se observ\u00f3 que el condensador estaba muy limpio, sin presencia de mejillones ni percebes, encontr\u00e1ndose solo un peque\u00f1o n\u00famero de conchas vac\u00edas de mejill\u00f3n en la caja de
